On our way to Oregon

Well we got on our way on Saturday morning, heading to Oregon to meet up with Ken and Bonnie Thomson. We breezed through the border and continued down I5 until Marysville, WA where we stopped for lunch at the Casino. Continued down I5 to Lynwood, WA where we got on to the 405 to bypass Seattle and the wether was nasty it rained so hard you couldn't see the lines on the road in front of you. Then back on the I5 to Toutle River Rest Area were we had a coffee break. We continued our day down the I5 to Saliatan River Rest Area where we stopped for the night. We unhooked and went for dinner just down the road. Up the next morning and continued on I5 with sunny skys to Albany, OR where we turned off to Hwy 34 and travelled to the coast. Very good bike road with all the twists and turns. Arrived at Waldport, OR where we bought some lunch groceries and made some lunch, hot soup and sandwiches. Leaving there we were on Hwy 101 and traveling along the coast. At Siuslaw National Forest Brad was tired so we stopped so he could have a nap for about 45 minutes. Then continued on our way to Coos Bay, OR and met up with Bonnie and Ken at the Midway RV Park on the Cape Arago Hwy. Had a good yak and set up the RV then went for drinks at their RV and then out for dinner at Fisherman's Grotto. Then ended the evening with some homemade Port at Ken and Bonnie's RV. (Delicious!)
